How to withdraw money from Algobi

Short version: Algobi does not publish a withdrawal processing time, a withdrawal fee schedule, or a minimum withdrawal amount anywhere we could find on its public site, and the dominant theme in its public review record is withdrawals that do not complete. We rate the broker Scam / Avoid at 2.1 out of 10 and we would not deposit money we expected to get back.

What Algobi publishes about withdrawals

Almost nothing. We checked the public site on 1 September 2026 for the four things a broker normally states in writing: which methods can be used to withdraw, how long each takes, what it costs, and what the minimum is. None of them were published in a form we could quote.

That absence is a finding rather than a gap in our research. A firm that pays people out reliably has no reason to hide the timetable, and most of the industry treats it as a selling point. When the payout terms are the one thing missing from an otherwise detailed marketing site, the omission is doing work.

What the complaint record describes

Across the public Trustpilot profile the same sequence appears repeatedly: a withdrawal request is submitted, it is delayed or declined, an account manager makes contact, and the resolution offered is a further deposit before the existing balance can be released. From there the balance is drawn down, often through positions the client says they did not open themselves.

We have not verified any individual account and we are not asserting that a specific transaction happened as described. What we can say is that the shape repeats, and that this particular shape is the recognised signature of an operation that does not intend to let client money leave. Trustpilot has also suspended the profile's TrustScore for a guideline breach and states it has removed fake reviews, which tells you something separate about how the record is being managed.

Why there is no backstop if a withdrawal is refused

Algobi operates as DXA Seychelles Limited under FSA Seychelles licence SD218. That licence is genuine and openly disclosed, and we give it credit for that in the scoring. It is still our weakest tier, and the reason is exactly this scenario.

There is no investor compensation scheme covering Seychelles-licensed firms, so a failure leaves nothing standing behind your balance. There is no ombudsman with jurisdiction to order a payout. Client fund segregation is not mandated by that regime, and we found no named custodian bank, so it cannot be independently confirmed. A UK-regulated firm in the same situation would put you in front of the FSCS, which covers eligible investment claims up to 85,000 pounds per person per firm, and the Financial Ombudsman Service. Here the equivalent figure is zero and the equivalent body does not exist.

If a withdrawal has already been refused

  • Put the request in writing through the platform and keep a timestamped copy. A phone conversation with an account manager is not evidence.
  • Do not deposit more money to release a withdrawal. No legitimate broker needs a new deposit before returning an existing balance. This is the single most reliable warning sign in the whole category.
  • If you funded by card, ask your bank about a chargeback and ask now. Card scheme time limits run in months from the transaction date and they are not flexible.
  • Collect the exact entity name and payment descriptor from your bank statement. If it does not match DXA Seychelles Limited, that mismatch matters to every complaint you file afterwards.
  • Complain to the FSA Seychelles as the licensing authority and to your own national regulator. Your regulator may not be able to recover funds but can often add the firm to a public warning list.
  • Treat any inbound offer to recover your money for an upfront fee as a second fraud. Victims of the first one are precisely the list recovery-fraud operators buy.

We are not a recovery service and we take no fee from anyone who is.
