Why we rated it Scam
1. The account structure is a deposit ladder
Axia runs five tiers: Standard at $500, Silver at $5,000, Gold at $10,000, Platinum at $50,000 and Premium at $250,000. Leverage runs up to 1:400.
Tiered accounts are normal in this industry and not damning in themselves. What a ladder like this does in practice is give an account manager a script. Every conversation about your account has a next rung, the rungs are large, and the top of the ladder is a quarter of a million dollars from a client the firm has no compensation scheme standing behind. Read alongside the complaint record below, the structure and the complaints describe the same mechanism from two directions.

2. The complaint record is specific and it is about getting money out
Axia’s Trustpilot score is 1.3 out of 5 across 94 reviews, with 73% at one star. The rating has not been suspended, so these are reviews Trustpilot has let stand.
The recurring themes are withdrawal requests going unfulfilled over long periods, and account managers pressing for further deposits. One reviewer describes being encouraged to take a bank loan in order to fund the account. Another describes being offered a settlement of $942 against a stated account value of more than $30,000, conditional on removing negative reviews online.
We have verified no individual account and we assert nothing about any specific transaction. We flag that last item in particular as one reviewer’s account rather than an established fact. The pattern across 94 reviews is what carries weight, and the pattern is consistent.

3. A real licence, and the honest part of the picture
Axia discloses Smarttool Trading SC Limited at Eden Plaza, Eden Island, Seychelles, under FSA Seychelles licence SD034, with Cyprus-registered Marketvalley Limited, HE415749, named as its paying agent.
Two things deserve credit here. The licence is genuine and openly disclosed. And unlike almost every other broker on this list, Axia does exclude the European Economic Area, along with the United States and British Columbia. A firm that declines to onboard clients it is not authorised to serve is doing something the MISA-licensed operators we have reviewed do not bother with.
What the licence provides is another matter. No investor compensation scheme, against 85,000 pounds per person per firm under the UK’s FSCS and 20,000 euros under the Cyprus fund. No ombudsman. No statutory leverage cap, which is what allows 1:400. Segregation is not mandated by the Seychelles regime and no custodian bank is named. A Cyprus paying agent is a payment arrangement, not regulatory cover: Marketvalley Limited being registered in Cyprus does not put Axia under CySEC.
4. A structure we have now seen twice
Axia’s five-tier ladder, at $500, $5,000, $10,000, $50,000 and $250,000, is identical in every amount to the one used by Seekapa. Both firms also exclude the same unusual combination of jurisdictions: the European Economic Area, the United States and British Columbia specifically.
We have not established any connection between the two companies and we do not assert one. The coincidence of five matching deposit thresholds and a matching exclusion of a single Canadian province is worth putting on the record.
Costs
Axia advertises more than 600 instruments across forex, indices, commodities, shares and crypto CFDs. It does not publish a spread table, a commission schedule, a swap table, a withdrawal fee or a withdrawal processing time that we could find. The deposit thresholds are precise to the dollar; the cost of trading is not stated at all.
If you already have money with Axia
We are not a recovery service and we take no fee from anyone who is.
- Put the withdrawal request in writing through the platform and keep a timestamped copy.
- Do not deposit more to release it, and do not borrow to fund a trading account under any circumstances.
- Do not accept a settlement conditional on deleting reviews. An offer contingent on your silence tells you what the firm thinks the reviews are worth.
- If you funded by card, ask your bank about a chargeback now.
- Check the payment descriptor on your statement. If it reads Marketvalley Limited rather than Smarttool Trading SC Limited, record that.
- Complain to the FSA Seychelles as the licensing authority and to your own national regulator.
Questions traders ask
Is Axia Investments regulated?
Yes, by the Financial Services Authority of Seychelles under licence SD034, held by Smarttool Trading SC Limited. That is a real licence and our weakest tier: no compensation scheme, no statutory leverage cap and no ombudsman.
Is Axia regulated in Cyprus?
No. Marketvalley Limited is a Cyprus-registered company named as Axia’s paying agent. A Cyprus company registration is not a CySEC licence and gives a client no protection under the EU regime.
Can EU residents open an Axia account?
No. Axia states it does not offer services within the European Economic Area, along with the United States and British Columbia. We give it credit for that.
What happens to my money if Axia fails?
There is no compensation scheme covering Seychelles-licensed firms, so nothing is guaranteed, and segregation cannot be independently confirmed.
