Broker warnings in September 2026: 76 from the FCA, 24 sites from CONSOB
Two regulators named broker websites in September 2026. The FCA published 76 warnings, 17 of them social media accounts rather than firms. CONSOB ordered Italian internet providers to block 24 sites across three orders. Three of the FCA’s 76 are brokers we have already reviewed in full, and one of CONSOB’s 24 is an established brand.
This is a monthly record of who was named, by whom, and on what date. It is not a list of every scam in existence. It is the list of names two regulators were prepared to publish, which is a much shorter and more useful thing.
Three of the 76 are brokers we have reviewed in full
The FCA got to all three first, in the opening week of the month. We published our reviews on 12 and 14 September and each one records the warning and its date. What the reviews add is everything the warning leaves out:
| Broker | FCA warning | What the FCA published | Our score |
|---|---|---|---|
| Swift TradeX | 1 September 2026 | 10 High Street, Worcester WR1 2QE, telephone 01905593288, swifttradexai.com | 1.1, Scam |
| Bridge Marks Limited | 3 September 2026 | Mobile 07520644403, four domains including bridgemarks.cc and webtrader.bridgemarks.online | 0.8, Scam |
| VenturoFX | 4 September 2026 | venturofx.com, a telephone number and a Cookham address matching the ones on the site | 1.1, Scam |
Read the FCA notices and you get a name, a phone number, a website and the standard sentence: the firm may be providing or promoting financial services without permission. That is all a warning is designed to do. It does not tell you what the firm claimed, which licence it quoted, or where the money would have gone. Our reviews do, and in all three cases that evidence came from the brokers’ own terms and footers rather than from the regulator. Bridge Marks prints its registered address as “office 000, 8888, City, Country” in its own terms, claims an “LSP Authorization” from the Belize IFSC without a number, and sets Saint Lucia as the governing law. Swift TradeX names no company, no regulator and no address at all, while the FCA notice supplies a Worcester high street address the site never mentions. VenturoFX quotes CySEC licence 123/12, which no Cypriot investment firm holds.
The FCA published 76 warnings, and 17 of them are people
Filtered to warnings published between 1 and 30 September 2026, the FCA’s news search returns 76 results, read on 27 September 2026. The composition is the interesting part.
| Type | Count |
|---|---|
| Total warnings published in September 2026 | 76 |
| Social media accounts, named by handle | 17 |
| Explicitly labelled clones of authorised or registered firms | 13 |
| Everything else: websites, firm names, trading brands | 46 |
Sixteen of the seventeen handles were published on a single day, 22 September. The names are mostly trading accounts: @FxGhost3199, @ForexFreeSMC, @ICTCRTTRADING, @FXMasterySchool, @TradeWitJames, @TradeWithArshh, @TradeWithNick0, @capital_ictone, @GoldCircleypur, @ElliottGrowth1, @ElliotVancwz, @Super_King62012, @RtanX7, @Bitoni1Audrey, @cocopokep, @Meersahabgq and @IrshadAhme77836. The seventeenth, The FBA Investor at @thefbainvestor, came on 3 September.
Nothing else in the month looked like that. Sixteen handles in one publication, against 46 firms and websites across the whole of September, is the FCA spending a day on the people who make the introduction rather than the firms that take the deposit. If you found a signal provider through a reply under someone else’s chart, that is the channel being named.
The gaps matter as much as the entries
The FCA published warnings on 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24 and 25 September. Nothing appeared between 10 and 16, nothing between 18 and 22, and nothing between 26 September and the afternoon of 27 September, when we closed this record. We will add any further September entries here. Publication comes in bursts that track internal workflow, not the arrival of new scams.
So “it is not on the FCA warning list” is close to worthless as reassurance on any given day. A firm can operate for months before an entry appears, and the absence of an entry is not a finding. Checking the register for a positive authorisation is the test that means something.
CONSOB blocked 24 sites in three orders
CONSOB does something stronger than a warning. It orders Italian internet providers to block access. Three orders landed in September 2026, and the press releases carry a running total.
| Order | Sites | Names | Running total since July 2019 |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10 September 2026 | 11 | Zynerix, Royalassetmanagement, Interactive, PU Prime, Rocketprobit and flintmoor.buzz | 1,816 |
| 17 September 2026 | 6 | Marbrisse, IMGPartners.cm and IM-Global.cm, Adamant Invest, AEA Growth, Nextrize Invest | 1,822 |
| 24 September 2026 | 7 | DMAsseteuBV, Spread Markets, Aurora Trade Limited, Lgquantichft, Settecmanagement, Giro Sharing | 1,829 |
Read on the CONSOB blackout page on 27 September 2026. Of the 1,829 sites blocked since July 2019, CONSOB records 235 as relating to crypto-asset activity. Twenty-four sites in a month is the ordinary rate, and the vast majority are single-brand operations with a webtrader subdomain and no history.
PU Prime is the one name on either list with a real business behind it
Almost everything on a warning list is a shell. PU Prime is not. It is an established retail CFD brand, and on 10 September 2026 CONSOB ordered Italian providers to block puprime.com along with it.puprime.com, it.puprimepartners.com, myaccount.puprime.com and myaccount.puprime.online.
That is worth stating carefully. A CONSOB blackout is a finding about authorisation to solicit Italian residents. It is not a finding of fraud, and nothing in the order says money was taken. What it does mean is that offering investment services into Italy requires either an Italian licence or a passport from another EU regulator, and CONSOB concluded this operation had neither.
PU Prime’s own legal notice, read on 27 September 2026, explains why. It names three entities:
| Entity | What it holds | Registered address |
|---|---|---|
| PU Prime Ltd | FSC Mauritius investment dealer licence GB23202672 | Suite 201 Level 2, The Catalyst, Cybercity Ebene, Mauritius |
| PU Prime LLC | St Vincent and the Grenadines FSA registration 271 LLC 2020 | Euro House, Richmond Hill Road, Kingstown |
| PU Prime (CY) Limited | A Cyprus company registration, HE414308, and nothing else | Archiepiskopou Makariou III 160, Limassol |
There is no EU investment firm in that list. The Cyprus entry is a company number, not a CySEC licence, and a company number authorises nothing. The copyright line at the foot of the page reads PU Prime LLC, the St Vincent entity.
That entity is described on PU Prime’s own page as “registered and authorised by the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Financial Services Authority”. The FSA itself says otherwise. A joint advisory from the SVG Financial Services Authority and the country’s Financial Intelligence Unit states that “there is no regulation in place for Foreign Exchange (Forex) Trading and Cryptocurrency offerings in St. Vincent and the Grenadines” and that “no Forex Trading or Cryptocurrency licenses are issued in St. Vincent and the Grenadines”. So 271 LLC 2020 is a company registration number, and the word authorised is doing work the document behind it cannot support.
The same page carries a regional restriction list: the United States, Canada, Singapore, Australia, Iran, China, the Philippines, North Korea, India, Cuba, Cyprus, American Samoa, Guam, the Northern Mariana Islands and Puerto Rico. Italy is not on it. Neither is the European Union. The brand excludes Cyprus, where it holds a company, and not the market whose regulator has just blocked it. When we opened puprime.com from Europe on 27 September we were redirected to a Romanian-language version of the site.
None of that makes PU Prime a scam and we have not reviewed it, so we are not scoring it. It is an illustration of the gap between holding licences and holding the right one: three registrations, none of them from a regulator with authority over the clients being solicited.
Interactive on CONSOB’s list is not Interactive Brokers
One of the 10 September blackouts is a site trading as Interactive, at interactive-inv.com. It has nothing to do with Interactive Brokers, which we rate 8.1 across five verified companies holding FCA 208159, Central Bank of Ireland C423427, SEC 8-47257 with FINRA CRD 36418, and MAS CMS100917.
We are pointing this out because the search results will conflate them. A name that borrows a real firm’s first word is the cheapest form of the clone pattern, and it works because people remember one word rather than a legal entity. The 13 explicit clone warnings on the FCA’s September list use the same mechanism with the full name and a lookalike domain.
What to do with a name on either list
If a broker you use appears on one of these lists, the warning itself is not the emergency. The emergency is the money. Card deposits have a chargeback route, usually 120 days from the transaction or from when you expected the service, with goods or services not provided as the reason. Bank transfers need a recall request to your own bank immediately. In the UK, report to the FCA’s consumer contact centre and to Action Fraud.
If a broker you are considering does not appear on either list, you have learned nothing. Both regulators publish in bursts, both cover only their own jurisdiction, and neither has any duty to find a firm before it finds you. Look the firm up on the register of the regulator it claims, under the legal entity name rather than the brand, and read what the licence actually permits. Our scoring weights that check at 30 per cent of the total for a reason, which is set out in our methodology.
