Is Primarkets a scam?

Yes, on the evidence available. The FCA has warned against Primarkets, ASIC lists it, and the site has since moved to a near-identical domain that claims no regulator and blocks search engines.

The regulator record

  • FCA, 9 July 2025. A published warning naming primarkets.io, an address at Muiderstraat 1, 1011 PZ Amsterdam, and the phone number 07441901689. The FCA's finding is that the firm is not authorised, may be providing or promoting financial services without permission, and may be targeting people in the UK.
  • ASIC. Primarkets (primarkets.io) appears on ASIC's investor alert list in Australia.

Dealing with an unauthorised firm means no Financial Ombudsman Service and no FSCS protection.

The domain change

The operation now runs at pri-markets.io, a hyphenated version of the domain the FCA named. A warning attaches to a domain, and a new domain detaches the brand from every search result the warning produced. The cost of doing that is roughly the price of a coffee.

What the current site publishes

We read it on 10 September 2026. It names no regulator, no licence number, no registered address and no country of incorporation. The only corporate identity is a footer line calling the company "Primarkets (Primarkets.co / Primarkets LLC.)", with no company number. Five account tiers are listed, Standard through VIP, with no minimum deposit published for any of them.

The tag that gives it away

The page serves <meta name="robots" content="noindex, nofollow">, which tells search engines to leave it out of their results entirely.

No legitimate broker does this. Search is how brokers acquire customers. A site that opts out of search acquires customers another way, which means somebody contacts you first. It also means the site cannot be found by anyone searching the brand name alongside the word scam, which is the search that would otherwise save them.

What this does not mean

This is not a claim about specific trades or specific losses. It is the public record: two regulator listings, a domain change following the first of them, and a site that publishes no licence and asks not to be indexed.

If you have deposited

Stop paying, particularly any fee described as required before a withdrawal. Note which domain appears on your bank statement, because both are in circulation. Screenshot the site and your account. Ask your bank about a chargeback or a transfer recall, citing the FCA warning of 9 July 2025. Report it to the FCA and Action Fraud in the UK, to ASIC in Australia, or to your own regulator. Do not pay anybody who offers to recover the funds.
