MaxifyFX licence numbers
MaxifyFX publishes two registration numbers and calls the pair a licence: FSCA licence 54512 against Maxify Group (Pty) Ltd in Klerksdorp, and a Saint Lucia company registration, 2023-00670. One is an FSP number that does not authorise issuing CFDs. The other is a certificate of incorporation, which authorises nothing at all. On the FSCA's OTC Derivative Provider register, read in full on 24 September 2026, no Maxify entity appears.

The Saint Lucia claim is the one to read twice
MaxifyFX writes that a company registered in Saint Lucia with registration number 2023-00670 "is entitled to provide trading services in financial markets, except for the United States, Myanmar, North Korea and Iran".
A company registration number confers no entitlement to do anything beyond exist. Saint Lucia's International Business Companies registry records that a company was formed. It does not assess the business, supervise it, hold it to any client-money standard or grant permission to take deposits and quote leveraged prices. The sentence is built to be read as a licence with a very wide scope, when what sits behind it is an incorporation certificate with none.
Notice what the exclusions are doing, too. The four countries named are places with strong enforcement or sanctions exposure. The European Union, the United Kingdom and Australia are not excluded, which means MaxifyFX does not rule out taking clients in markets where an unauthorised firm is prohibited from soliciting them.
What the FSCA number does and does not cover
South Africa licenses advice and intermediary services under the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act, which is what an FSP number records. Issuing or writing a CFD as principal is a different activity under a different statute, the Financial Markets Act, and needs approval as an OTC Derivative Provider. The two are set out in full in our guide.
We read the FSCA's ODP register in full on 24 September 2026. It holds 95 entries and 47 of them carry the status Approved, among them Capital.com South Africa, Exness SC, Exinity, the South African branch of IG Markets, Plus500AU, Scope Markets SA and JP Markets SA. A further 25 read Application Withdrawn, including Pepperstone, Trading 212, HF Markets and ForexTime, so the register records the firms that tried and stopped as well as the ones that finished. Maxify Group (Pty) Ltd appears in no status at all, and neither does any entity trading as MaxifyFX.
Three jurisdictions, one unanswered question
Klerksdorp is a mining town in North West province. Rodney Bay is a Saint Lucia resort district that hosts thousands of registered-agent addresses. Alexandria is where the staff appear to be. Between the three, MaxifyFX never answers the only thing that matters when a withdrawal stalls: which company holds your money, and which regulator can be asked about it.
The FSP number points at a South African company that is not licensed for the activity. The Saint Lucia number points at a shell with no supervision. Neither jurisdiction runs a compensation scheme that would reach a MaxifyFX client, so there is no backstop if the firm stops paying.
How to check this yourself
Search the FSCA entity register under the OTC Derivative Providers tab for "Maxify" and read the result. Then look up FSP 54512 on the FSP register and read the licence categories rather than the number. For Saint Lucia, the registry confirms only incorporation, which is the point. Our guide covers the method.
Frequently asked questions
What is MaxifyFX's licence number?
MaxifyFX publishes FSCA licence 54512 against Maxify Group (Pty) Ltd, South African company number 2024/240737/07, at 32 Victoria Av, Flamwood, Klerksdorp. It also publishes Saint Lucia company registration 2023-00670, which is an incorporation number rather than a licence.
Is MaxifyFX regulated in South Africa?
It quotes an FSCA FSP number. That covers advice and intermediary services, not issuing CFDs as principal, which requires an OTC Derivative Provider approval under the Financial Markets Act. We read the FSCA's ODP register in full on 24 September 2026 and no Maxify entity is on it.
Does the Saint Lucia registration mean MaxifyFX is licensed?
No. Registration number 2023-00670 records that a company exists in Saint Lucia. The registry does not supervise the business, set client-money rules or grant permission to offer trading services, so the claim that the registration entitles the company to provide trading services does not follow from the document behind it.
