Kcapital Review 2026: Blocked in Italy, and Its About Page Names a Third Website
CONSOB ordered Italian providers to block kcapital.net and my.kcapital.net in a press release dated 12 June 2026. The site names no regulator, no company and no licence, gives a Toronto address with a nine-digit US phone number, and its About page describes kcapital.online. We score it 0.9 out of 10.

Kcapital sells contracts for difference in three languages. It names no regulator, no licence, no company and no jurisdiction. On the page where it introduces itself, it describes a website you are not on.
What CONSOB did
CONSOB is Italy’s securities regulator. It holds a power most authorities do not: under article 7-octies of legislative decree 58/1998, it can order Italian internet service providers to block a website outright rather than merely publish a warning about it.
On 12 June 2026 it announced seven such orders. The list reads, in CONSOB’s own wording:
“Kcapital” (website https://kcapital.net and related page https://my.kcapital.net)
CONSOB’s stated ground for these orders is the unlawful provision of investment services to the Italian public, contrary to article 18 of the consolidated finance act. The same release put the running total of sites CONSOB has blocked since 2019 at 1,736.
A blocking order is a stronger signal than a warning. A warning says the regulator wants people told. A block says it decided the quickest remedy was to make the site unreachable.
The About page is about a different domain
This is the detail that gives the game away. Kcapital’s own About Us section opens:
kcapital.online is a leading provider of Contracts for Difference (CFDs)
Three domains are now in play. kcapital.net, the site you are reading. my.kcapital.net, the portal CONSOB named alongside it. And kcapital.online, which appears nowhere else on the site and is not in the blocking order.
Copy blocks get reused across domains as brands are rebuilt after a block, and this is what that looks like when nobody proofreads. It tells you the text predates the domain, which is another way of saying the domain is disposable.
The contact details do not hold up
The footer gives an address and a telephone number. Read them next to each other:
| Published | Problem |
|---|---|
| Richmond-Adelaide Centre, 17 Floor, 111 Richmond, Toronto, Ontario, Canada | A serviced office tower in downtown Toronto. No company name is attached to the suite |
| +1 304814877 | Nine digits. A North American number has ten. And +1 304 is West Virginia, not Toronto, whose codes are 416, 647 and 437 |
| [email protected] | The only contact channel that could work |
| Footer: “© 2023 KCAPITAL” | Three years stale on a site trading today |
A Canadian address matters for a second reason. Securities regulation in Canada is provincial. A firm soliciting Ontario residents to trade CFDs needs to be registered with the Ontario Securities Commission or to hold an exemption. Kcapital claims no registration, in Ontario or anywhere else.
What the site does not say
Across the whole site, in all three language versions, there is no regulator, no licence number, no company name, no registration number, no country of incorporation, no terms and conditions, no client agreement, no risk warning, no statement about segregated client money, no investor compensation scheme, no minimum deposit, no leverage figure and no spread table.
That is not an unusual list for this tier. What is unusual is how completely it holds: brokers of this shape normally claim something, because a claim converts better than silence. Kcapital’s pitch runs entirely on presentation.
What the score is made of
| Pillar | Weight | Score | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| Regulation and licence tier | 30% | 0.4 | A CONSOB blocking order; no regulator claimed or held anywhere |
| Fund safety and withdrawals | 25% | 0.4 | No entity, no segregation claim, no compensation scheme |
| Cost and execution | 15% | 2.0 | Nothing published to assess |
| Transparency | 15% | 0.5 | Publishes almost nothing, and what it does publish points at another domain |
| Complaint record | 10% | 2.0 | A blocking order rather than a warning, which is the stronger action |
| Platform and support | 5% | 1.5 | An email address and a phone number that cannot be dialled as printed |
0.9 out of 10. Kcapital scores marginally above OasisBF for one reason: it has not claimed a licence it does not hold. Saying nothing is bad. Borrowing somebody else’s registration is worse. The method is at our scoring method.
If you have already deposited
- Stop depositing, and treat any payment demanded before a withdrawal as the fraud rather than a route out of it.
- Check your statement for the name that actually took the money. With no company published anywhere on the site, the processor name on your statement may be the only identity you have.
- Screenshot the site, including the About Us paragraph naming kcapital.online and the footer contact block.
- Card payments: ask your bank about a chargeback for services not provided, normally within 120 days.
- Bank transfers: request a recall the same day, and cite the CONSOB order of 12 June 2026.
- Report it to CONSOB if you are in Italy, and to your own national regulator elsewhere. A CONSOB block covers Italy only, so the site remains reachable almost everywhere else.
- Refuse recovery offers.
The check worth learning
Read a broker’s About page for the domain name, not the prose. Firms of this kind rebuild under new domains and carry the old copy across, and the sentence introducing the company is where the previous name survives longest. If the About page describes an address you did not type, you are looking at a rebuild.
The wider pattern is in our investigation into the blocked-brand pipeline.
