Is Intrade24 a scam?

Yes, on the evidence available. Intrade24 claims four investor protections it does not have, and Quebec's regulator has warned against it by name.

The claims

The footer reads: "Intrade24 is a registered broker-dealer and member of FINRA/SIPC. Securities products and services are offered through IN TRADE 24 TRUST INC." The site also displays CIRO and CIPF marks, at an address of 92 King Street East, Toronto.

The checks

  • FINRA BrokerCheck, 10 September 2026. Searching "in trade 24" returns zero firms. Searching "intrade24" returns zero firms. BrokerCheck covers every current and former FINRA member in the United States.
  • SIPC. SIPC membership follows FINRA membership for broker-dealers. No membership, no cover.
  • CIRO and CIPF. CIRO publishes the dealers it regulates. No firm of this name appears among them, and CIPF cover applies only to CIRO dealer members.
  • AMF Quebec, 4 September 2026. A published warning naming intrade24.com and In Trade 24 Trust, stating that Intrade24 is not registered with the AMF and is not authorised to solicit Quebec investors.

The contradiction you can see without searching anything

FINRA and SIPC are United States bodies. CIRO and CIPF are Canadian ones. They are two separate national systems with separate entities, capital rules and filings. One company at one Toronto address cannot be a member of all four. The badges are there so that an American visitor and a Canadian visitor each see one they recognise.

The account structure

Bronze starts at $5,000, rising through Silver at $15,000 and Gold at $25,000 to Platinum VIP at $100,000, with the spread falling from 2.0 pips to zero along the way. A $5,000 minimum is not how a broker chasing retail volume prices an account. It is how an operation that works clients by telephone filters for people worth calling.

What this does not mean

Losing money on trades is not proof of fraud, and this review does not claim to know what happens inside the platform. The finding is documentary: four regulatory claims that public registers do not support, plus a dated regulator warning.

If you have money there

Stop depositing, particularly if a fee has been demanded before a withdrawal will be released. Screenshot the regulatory claims and your account before they change. Ask your bank about a chargeback or a wire recall today rather than next week. Report it to the AMF or your provincial securities commission, and to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre. Refuse anyone offering to recover the money for an up-front fee.
